Pembroke is the old county town of Pembrokeshire (the centre of administration has since moved to Haverfordwest) famous for its single storey Pembrokeshire Cottages and Medieval Castle - the birthplace of Henry VII

All the expected amenities of a county town are available (Doctors, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, etc.) together with fast food outlets, pubs and restaurants - for those who just cannot live without them and who prefer more bustle than that found in the quieter country areas.

The perhaps more famous tourist resort of Tenby is half an hour drive and the excellent walks provided by the Preseli Mountains are approximately one hours drive.

For the keen geographer or map reader, the map reference (Ordnance Survey) is 853034, and the location is found on Google Earth if you type in the post code - SA71 5BE. The image is not very clear from the satellite picture, but you can see exactly where we are! Surrounded by fields and on the National Park's coast path, it is a private, tranquil site and yet only a short walk to the beach and to the village of Angle.

Angle, some 10 miles west of Pembroke, is a small but thriving community boasting a Church, a school, a shop and 2 pubs. It is a narrow village, with the houses clustered around the west side of Angle Bay and in a ribbon from Angle Bay to West Angle Bay.

The village of Angle is situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park and there are many stunning views within this area of 'outstanding beauty'

The famous Stack Rocks and Green Gate of Wales are a few miles away as are the equally renowned Bosherston Lily Ponds with walks by the lakes down to the sheltered Broad Haven Beach and further walks along the headland to Barafundle or Stackpole Quay

West Pill is an old farmhouse in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with stunning views to the south and west overlooking the beach at West Angle Bay and the entrance to the Milford Haven waterway. The original farm buildings have been converted into 2 semi-detached cottages - the Old Dairy and the Stable - and these are immediately adjacent to the farmhouse, but within their own grounds.

Both cottages have 2 bedrooms upstairs - one large double and one smaller twin-bedded room - and a bathroom and 2 further rooms downstairs. The Old Dairy has a large kitchen with a dining table and a sitting room, and the Stable has a smaller kitchen and a larger sitting room with a dining table. The bathrooms have a bath and a shower, and the cottages are heated by wood-burning stoves and storage radiators.

Outside there is a large grass garden and access to the other grassed areas surrounding the property. There's plenty of parking space, and pets are welcome..
